How VOA Southeast Serves Veterans and Their Families
In 2024, we served 750 veterans in Alabama and Georgia through programs designed to provide essential support for long-term stability.
Our Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program helps veterans facing homelessness by connecting them to:
- Housing Stability Resources
- VA Benefits
- Vocational Counseling
The Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) supports veterans re-entering the workforce through:
- Job Training
- Employment Counseling
- Connections with Local Employers
This program helps veterans regain financial independence and rebuild their sense of purpose. Our Transitional Housing program, Eagle’s Landing in Mobile, Alabama, offers a supportive environment where veterans can stay while working toward independence. Services range from case management to financial management to healthcare, helping veterans build the stability they need to succeed.
