VOA Turns 130!

On March 8 we celebrate 130 years of Volunteers of America — a major milestone in a legacy of compassion. Founded in 1896 by Ballington and Maud Booth, VOA’s mission to reach and uplift people in need drives action from coast to coast. At VOA Southeast, we are committed to carrying that mission forward, working every day to transform lives across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.

VOA’s 130th Anniversary Giving Day

Join Us March 9 This March 9, VOA Southeast invites you to join us in celebrating our first-ever VOA Giving Day, held as we celebrate 130 years of service. Your donation on Giving Day will help sustain lifesaving programs and expand the support families, veterans, older adults, and children need across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.  Why Giving Day Matters  For 130 years, Volunteers of America has walked alongside individuals and families facing life’s hardest challenges — strengthening health, expanding access to safe, affordable housing, supporting recovery, and building pathways to lasting stability. Giving Day is an opportunity to honor that legacy…
