Spreading Joy and Hope Together
Since 1989, VOA Southeast, in partnership with WALA FOX10, has brought hope and joy to thousands of people in need through the Season of Caring’s 10 Caring Gifts initiative, made possible by the generosity of businesses, schools, and individuals across our communities.
Reflecting on the 2024 Season of Caring, we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support that made this year’s campaign a tremendous success. Through the 10 Caring Gifts initiative, we were able to bring warmth, comfort, and joy to thousands of individuals and families, including at-risk youth, foster children, homeless veterans, low-income seniors, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. With the help of over thirty partner organizations and churches, our collective efforts created a ripple effect of kindness and care across our region.

In total, Season of Caring 2024 has made an incredible impact, with 16,348 gifts and essentials distributed to 3,108 people in need, amounting to an astounding $173,330 worth of support. In addition, the Pennies for Patriots campaign raised more than $1,165, adding to the collective effort of generosity and compassion. This achievement would not have been possible without the commitment of WALA Fox 10 and its dedicated team.
