Put Your Money Where Your Heart Is

Choose the impact that moves you most this giving season

What does your heart tell you?

Maybe it tells you that no older adult should feel trapped inside their home because they cannot safely navigate the front steps.

Maybe it tells you that people with disabilities deserve reliable transportation to work, programs, appointments, and the communities they enrich.

Maybe your heart is with a mother working toward recovery, a family facing an empty pantry, a child who needs a safe place to learn and grow, or a veteran searching for stability after experiencing homelessness.

At VOA Southeast, these needs are different, but they are connected by the belief that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope.

This giving season, we invite you to put your money where your heart is.

Introducing the VOA Southeast Giving Catalog

Our Giving Catalog makes it easy to support the programs and opportunities that mean the most to you. Every item represents a real need within the communities VOA Southeast serves across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.

Your gift can help:

  • Build accessibility ramps for seniors and people with mobility issues.
  • Provide safe, reliable transportation for people with disabilities.
  • Support mothers and children healing together through family-focused recovery services.
  • Stock food pantries and provide nutritious meals and grocery assistance.
  • Give children and youth access to mentoring, educational activities, meals, and summer camp.
  • Help veterans access safe housing, employment support, benefits, healthcare, and a path toward lasting stability.
  • Meet urgent needs for neighbors facing eviction, utility shutoffs, medical expenses, or another unexpected crisis.

Whether you give toward hardware for an accessibility ramp, healthy meals for children, counseling for a mother in recovery, or emergency assistance for a family in crisis, you are helping turn compassion into practical support.

Put Your Heart Into Action

Some needs cannot wait. A utility bill is due. A pantry shelf is empty. A family needs a safe place to stay tonight.

Other needs require steady, dependable support. Transportation must remain available. After-school programs must continue week after week. Recovery services must be there throughout a family’s journey.

A one-time gift can answer an urgent need today. A monthly gift provides reliable support that helps VOA Southeast plan ahead, respond consistently, and continue walking alongside people for as long as they need us.

As a small token of our gratitude, monthly donors will receive a free thank-you T-shirt after three consecutive months of giving.

Both are meaningful. Both change lives.

The right way to give is the way that reflects what matters most to you.

Choose Your Impact

Throughout the coming weeks, we will share more about the people, programs, and possibilities represented in the Giving Catalog. You will see how a safe ramp can restore independence, how an accessible van can open the door to opportunity, how consistent meals can create stability, and how compassionate support can help a family begin again.

You will also meet the people at the heart of this work—neighbors whose courage, determination, and hope remind us why giving matters.

Every gift meets a real need. Every act of generosity tells someone that they have not been forgotten. Every donor becomes part of a community committed to helping people reach their full potential.

This season, listen to what moves you.

Then put your money where your heart is.
