VOA’s 130th Anniversary Giving Day

Join Us March 9

This March 9, VOA Southeast invites you to join us in celebrating our first-ever VOA Giving Day, held as we celebrate 130 years of service. Your donation on Giving Day will help sustain lifesaving programs and expand the support families, veterans, older adults, and children need across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.

Why Giving Day Matters

For 130 years, Volunteers of America has walked alongside individuals and families facing life’s hardest challenges — strengthening health, expanding access to safe, affordable housing, supporting recovery, and building pathways to lasting stability. Giving Day is an opportunity to honor that legacy and make a meaningful, immediate impact in the communities we serve.

Where Your Gift Goes

Your support strengthens programs changing lives right now:

  • Supportive housing and services for veterans who served our country
  • Early intervention and youth services that prevent crises and build brighter futures
  • Programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that foster independence and meaningful connection
  • Family-focused recovery services for women and children rebuilding with stability and hope
  • Affordable housing for seniors and families creating safety and long-term security
